From Your idea, Spoken out loud.
To Your App, Running in the cloud.

How It Works

Say it out loud. Read it back. Then decide.

No coding. No hiring. No sales calls. And no big commitment until you've seen the plan.

01

Record & Confirm

Sign up and describe what you want to build — like you're telling a friend about it over coffee. We show you the transcript; you fix anything we misheard and confirm it.

02

Get Your Specification

For $750 we produce your market analysis, product specification, design document, and mockups. A person reviews them, and they're with you within 24 hours.

03

Approve & We Build

Happy with the plan? The $5,000 deposit — less the $750 you already paid — starts a two-week build. Every feature you described, tested before you see it.

04

Review, Revise, Go Live

Your app is published to its own web address. Review it, ask for up to two rounds of changes, and settle the $5,000 balance on delivery. It's yours.

Why GBR

Built different, for a reason.

Competitors stop at code generation. We stop when your app is live.

Just Hit Record

Talking is faster and easier than filling out forms. Describe your idea out loud in plain English — no spec documents, no technical knowledge needed. We take it from there.

Real Apps, Not Templates

Every app we build is custom — designed around your idea, not shoehorned into a template. You get a real, professional-grade product your customers will actually want to use.

You Own It All

The app is yours. The code is yours. If you ever want to move it, hand it to a developer, or take it somewhere else — you can. No lock-in, no permission needed.

Tested Before It Goes Live

Every app is put through its paces before you ever see it. We're not handing you something held together with duct tape — it works the way you expect from day one.

We Do the Whole Thing

From the first sketch to a live link you can share — we handle every step. You don't need to know what a server is, or care. That's our job.

A Price You Can Decide on Today

$750 gets you the full specification — market analysis, spec, design, and mockups — within 24 hours. Read it before you commit to the build, and that $750 comes off the price when you do.

Pricing

Three stages.
No surprises in between.

You pay for the specification first, decide whether to build once you've read it, and settle the balance only when your app is live and you've seen it working.

Stage Two
Full Build Deposit
Read your specification, decide it's right, and start the build.
$5,000
Deposit · Starts a two-week build

The $750 you paid at stage one is credited against this deposit — so $4,250 is what you actually pay.
  • Your $750 specification fee credited in full
  • A two-week build period begins
  • Built from the specification you already approved
  • Google sign-in, email, and text messaging included
  • Published to your own subdomain
  • Tested before you ever see it

Available in your project once your specification package lands.

Stage Three
Final Payment
Due on delivery — after you've reviewed the published app and asked for changes.
$5,000
Balance · $10,000 total build cost

  • You review your published app first
  • Up to two rounds of revisions included
  • Payment falls due on delivery, not before
  • Brings the total build cost to $10,000
  • The app and its code are yours

Nothing to do here now — we'll invoice this once your app is live.

All in
$10,000

That's the total build cost — specification included, because the $750 is credited against your deposit. Once your app is live, hosting is $299/month, which covers the subdomain, certificates, sign-in, and a monthly allowance of the AI, transcription, email, and SMS your app uses.

$750 specification
$4,250 deposit (after credit)
$5,000 on delivery
$299/mo hosting, once live
Base Package

What every build includes.

Three integrations and a live web address, out of the box. No setup, no extra invoices.

Google Authentication

Your users sign in with the Google account they already have. Nothing for you to configure, no passwords for you to look after.

Email Integration

Your app can send email — confirmations, notifications, receipts, whatever your idea calls for. Wired up and working on day one.

Text Messaging

Send SMS from your app for reminders, alerts, and confirmations — included in the base package alongside email.

Hosted on Your Subdomain

Your app goes live at slug.apps.guidedbyrobots.com — the slug is your app's name. Hosting, certificates, and deployment are handled, for $299/month once you're live.

Add-Ons

Anything beyond the base package.

Priced individually, quoted before we start. You'll never find one of these on an invoice you didn't agree to.

Priced individually
Custom Domain
Run your app on your own web address instead of the assigned subdomain — yourapp.com rather than slug.apps.guidedbyrobots.com. Quoted separately.
Priced individually
Additional Integrations
Anything past the three included — payments, calendars, mapping, CRMs, industry systems. Each integration is priced on its own and quoted before it's built.
Quoted on request
Pricing Being Finalised
Add-on pricing is set individually and confirmed with you before any work starts. Ask us for a figure while you're reading your specification — that's the moment to decide.
How It Runs

From your first recording to your live app.

Six steps. You're only asked for money at two of them.

  1. Register and recordCreate your account and talk us through your idea out loud — the way you'd explain it to a friend.
  2. Confirm your transcriptWe show you a transcript of what you said. Edit anything we misheard, then confirm it. Nothing moves forward until you do.
  3. Pay the $750 specification feeThe first and smallest commitment you make — and it comes straight back off your build deposit.
  4. We produce your documentsMarket analysis, product specification, design document, and mockups are generated automatically — then read and checked by a person before they go anywhere.
  5. Your package arrives within 24 hoursWithin 24 hours of your payment, the reviewed documents land in your account. Read them at your own pace.
  6. Decide, then buildIf it's right, pay the $5,000 deposit — less the $750 already paid — and your two-week build begins.

About the Founder

Hey — I'm Mike.

I've spent over a decade building software for some of the largest organizations in the country. I've seen firsthand how powerful a good app can be — and how needlessly out of reach the whole process has always felt for most people.

The problem was never the idea. Every time I talked to a small business owner, a first-time founder, or someone with a brilliant concept — the idea was great. The problem was the gap between "I have an idea" and "I have a working app." That gap costs money, time, and usually requires people you don't know how to find.

Guided by Robots closes that gap. You record a video describing what you want. We build it, launch it, and hand it to you. No technical background needed on your end — that's what we're here for.

I'm based in Lakewood, Ohio. When I'm not working on GBR, I'm coaching youth soccer, running a real estate investment business, and being outvoted on how many computers belong in the garage.

What We Believe

Ideas deserve a fair shot.

The gap between "I have an idea" and "I have a working app" shouldn't require a $50k development engagement or a technical co-founder. We're collapsing that gap.

Ownership is non-negotiable.

Your code lives in your GitHub. Your app runs on your Azure. We're building a tool, not a jail. Every customer gets full source and zero lock-in.

Prototypes should be production-grade.

We don't hand you a barely-running demo. Every GBR app is put through its paces before you ever see it — tested, polished, and ready to use on day one.

AI should work for people.

Not replace them. Not confuse them. Not lock them in. GBR uses AI to handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on the parts only you can do.

How We Work

The principles behind every app we build.

We make decisions the same way every time — quality first, your ownership always, no shortcuts.

We build real apps, not demos

Every app we deliver is production quality — the same standard a professional development team would hold themselves to. No half-baked prototypes, no cutting corners.

Your data is always safe

Security isn't an afterthought for us. Everything we build follows industry best practices to keep your app — and your users' information — protected.

No surprise costs

What you see on the pricing page is what you pay: $750 for the specification, $10,000 all-in for the build with that $750 credited back, then $299/month to keep it hosted and running. Add-ons are quoted individually, and we'll tell you the number before anything extra gets added.

We iterate with you

Got feedback after seeing the first version? That's completely normal. Our revision process is built to make changes straightforward, not painful or expensive.

Real humans answer your questions

When you reach out, you hear back from a person — not a bot, not a help article. We're a small team, which means you actually matter to us.

Your app goes where you go

If you ever outgrow us, want to move your app, or hand it to another developer — go for it. The code is yours. We'll even help with the handoff.

Featured Apps

Apps people like you can build.

Every one of these started as a plain-English video. No technical experience. Just an idea and a camera.

What can you build with GBR?

If you can describe it out loud, we can build it. Here are a few examples to get you thinking.

InventorySMB
Inventory Tracker Pro
A small business owner describes their product catalog and stock management workflow. GBR returns a full CRUD inventory app with low-stock alerts and purchase order history.
